don't forget to breatheeeee

i crack up every time miss winsor reminds me of this...like i'm going to forget to breathe!!!!??!?!

so we are in the home stretch of winter and i for one, am sick of it!!! it's getting harder and harder to hit the pavement...going outdoors is just not that fun anymore...but to help keep some extra lbs from making a home on my thighs before picture perfect spring weather hits--pilates does the trick.

give it a whirl---so good for body.mind.soul.  my momma and all my sisters and even little niece lucy are all sold!!! here's an article on the man who created and my fav, the winsor pilates

I've done pilates at my gym 3 times in the last few weeks... not cheap. But I LOVE IT!

I went with my friend last night and it was awesome. The teacher is very good, and really involved in making sure you are doing it right. She totally kicked my butt last night, but I enjoyed it!

One weird thing- the teacher had us standing straight, feet together, head down (chin in chest basically), then she says "ok, you should be able to see your navel now, pull it in to your spine". I couldn't see my 'navel', only my boobs! hahaha- i start laughing at random during class...

Anyway- when I got home I ate 4 (yes I said 4) oranges! I think it was all the talk about navels...

L-O-V-E it. When I got hurt and couldn't run my stress off anymore, this was an answer to prayers. I am with you Maria though, sometimes the instructors say these absurd things that make you laugh out loud.

You should definitely try it Ruth. I love my instructor- she is so sweet and it is such a small class that she works really closely with each of us.
I love her energy- she'll be trying to help you do a move right and she goes (I'm trying to think of an example) "no, move your ? further, further, further, further... YES YOU DID IT! GOOD JOB!!!!"

I love it!
